You can spend your leisure time at the Dripping Springs Natural Area or explore the Prehistoric Trackways National Monument. If you are looking for a spot to cool off on a hot day, you can spend some time at the many waterpark locations. For animal lovers, the Las Cruces Zoo is also an option for when you are in the mood to explore.

Shopping:

When it comes to shopping you can find the majority of retail stores and restaurants on the east side of the city. The Las Cruces Mall is located there and offers a variety of stores to satisfy all your shopping needs. If you’re looking for a night out with friends, you can spend some time at the Warehouse Bar, a local pub that is known for their drinks. Boots & Bourbon is another local favorite that plays multiple genres of music including country, dance and even Hispanic music. If bars and clubs are not your ideal plan for a night out, then you could catch a show at the Rio Grande Theatre. This iconic theatre puts on plays, concerts and performances all year round.

Where Is Las Cruces?

Las Cruces lies in the heart of the Mesilla Valley and is the seat of Dona Ana County, NM. The distance from Las Cruces to Albuquerque is a little over three hours north via I-25 N. If you are planning a trip to Texas, the travel time from Las Cruces to El Paso is only 50 minutes South via I-10 E.
